I finally went to that overnight at Whitby Psychiatric with rz350 and a member from the Meetup UE group. Almost cancelled due to weather but then figured 'screw it' and went ahead anyway. Went to the Meetup meeting first, then headed out to Whitby via carpool.

Anyways, to the main issue, the actual trip. It was awesomely awesome, naturally. We explored the steam tunnels beneath the hospital first, coming up in the staff and patient cabins randomly around the grounds. Came into a near-brush with night security (thank god for rent-a-cops). That was somewhat funny. The security is hyped about on the UE groups, and yet...they suck. The three of us are right there, pushing aside a manhole cover, flashlights on and everything, and they pass on by!? XD

Also ran into some amateur UE'ers (more likely a bunch of kids looking for a place to smoke dope). Also ended up getting spooked by a cell phone someone dropped near a staff cabin that kept playing the mario theme...this, in the dead of night in an otherwise silent area...yeah, great XD We did end up picking it up and answering, and managed to return it to the person who lost it.

Finally decided to bunk down in the closed off basement bowling alley of one of the recreational buildings. It was cold. Very cold. Very, very, very cold. So after watching cartoons on a laptop and frying hot dogs on a portable stove, we decided to get some sleep. I got none -_-' *curls up in a fetal position on her sleeping back, shivering violently*

Cue the next morning, of which I am only too happy to witness finally coming. Packed everything up and headed home. I'm so very tired x_X
